Cisco thingQbator
As a key stakeholder in the program, Li2 was responsible for creating a holistic learning & innovation roadmap for the thingQbator cohorts. Li2 has been successful in providing an accessible learning path through state of the art web portal and LMS, complete with a full stack of digitalcurated canned content on emerging technologies. Li2 has driven adoption and activation through immersive hands-on workshops and active mentorship in deep technologies thus guiding participants from idea incubation to impactful implementation.

“Cisco thingQbator” is a network of makerspaces in partner Universities where students can learn about digital technologies in a hands-on environment, turn their ideas into working prototypes and in the process come up with local solutions to local problems. The thingQbator program is structured to encourage a rapid prototyping mindset with 24/7 access to the makerspace and all the equipment therein as well as active mentorship and training.
The thingQbator program is structured to encourage a rapid prototyping mindset. As part of the program, a rotating cohort of about 50 students will join the program every 6 months. over the course of the 6 months, they get 24/7 access to the makerspace and all the equipment and tools therein as well as mentorship and training. The cohort culminates with a demo-day wherein decisions are made on how to proceed with the prototypes built by the cohort.
